Tsunami Victims need your help!
Calling all TJCians, the past and present, and all friends!
The urgency of aid for the Tsunami Disaster should be obvious to all. The affected countries require cash assistance more than anything else. The Leo Club of Temasek Junior College is thus setting up a booth in our college in the next two days collecting cash donations from TJCians and the public on behalf of Singapore Red Cross Society. All donations collected shall be to help the victims of the Tsunami Disaster. The 23rd Board of Directors will be at the booth during the times below to collect any cash or cheques donated for this cause. The College has also kindly offered to give out Temasek JC NEWater bottles to any $10 and above donations. We hope you can donate generously and also help to spread the message to everyone on your contact list. =) Details:- Dates: 30th and 31st December 2004, Thursday and Friday Time: 30th ---> 8am - 6pm 31st ---> 8am - 3pm Venue: Temasek Junior College Cafeteria Cheques should be made payable to Singapore Red Cross Society. P.S To current TJCians: Mrs Lim should have already gotten someone to post a similar message onto the college matrix or college website, so do ask your friends to check there for further details. Try to pass this on to your PDP leaders so that they can reach all their members. That way, we should be able to spread this message to the entire college population before school reopens(and hopefully within these 2 days). Many of u should have received it. The only failure delivery i noe of is Kang hao. Dunno wad he doing wif his e-mail. But anywayz....PLEASE help. Mrs Lim, as our darling Mrs Lim is, has called the press, budden usually they will only give such things a small column lor, so need all your help. The HwaChongians, get ur college to help too!!!! We all alliance, remember?? =P Sigh. and the notice was so short, like just proposed to mrs lim and she immediately took action. she IS efficient. Like she call the press like their her parents.... she always does, rite? ok. since such short notice, guess who's doing all the work? US, the 23rd board of directors. as usual rite? we just do everything wad, anyway. Like the 2nd SC. haiz. tomorrow i should be at school from lunch time onwards. My shift is 4-6pm. But somehow i have a feeling lunch time will have pple. and they will need help. 12 pple on shift for 1 and 1/2 days. each shift only 2 pple... wadeva. its for a good cause. hehe. mrs lim so cute, she just came to us halfway thru our meeting then asked us for details and asked us "are u guys game to start tomorrow?" (our initial plan was when sch reopens.) we were just stunned.... then everone nodded our heads. wad else can we do, she's the head of the college wad. Young principal, got more drive and energy than others. GOOD. like her more and more.... hahaha...she's cool. Next time if i wanna be a principal, i must do the job as well as her. if not, rather not do. =) She's e bez! oh ya, and those NEWater... TJC brand one. hahaha.... TJCians should have seen it before. quite amusing when mrs lim suggested it. haha... talk abt creative incentives. i tink she also giving TJC post-its. i like those! i want to get some too...! but of cuz i will donate la. i wont just 'kope' from the booth mah. =P I got alot of integrity okay.
